Archaeology Warwickshire’ is the trading name of Warwickshire County Council’s commercial archaeology and heritage team. Formerly part of the County Museum, we have built upon our local expertise and developed an enviable reputation for quality, reliability and fairness.

Although you will work from our bespoke new base in Warwick, fieldwork will mostly be within one hour of the office.

 


We are a CIfA Registered Organisation and as a Warwickshire County Council trading group can offer:

• 32 days holiday (including bank holidays) rising to 37 after 4 years),

• additional pay for any work or travel time over and above 7.4hrs per day,

Self-employed sub-contractors and specialists 


We are always interested to hear from experienced archaeologists who wish to work on a self-employed basis, either in the field or on post-excavation analysis. 


Prospective candidates should have a UTR and the relevant insurances.
